School Disinfection Project
Description of Project
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic brought about unprecedented changes around the world, giving rise to an urgent call for immediate and preventive action. This inspired our “Back-to-school Disinfection Project.”
Goal of the Project
The “Back-to-school Disinfection Project” was aimed at;
- Providing a safe environment for teachers and pupils to resume the teaching-learning process after the lockdown.
- To curb the rate of sanitation-related illnesses such as diarrhea, amongst pupils and students.
The outcome of the Project
- Under the “Back-to-School Disinfection Project,” we were able to disinfect over 10 schools in the Centre region of Cameroon.
- We were able to create a conducive learning environment for over 2500 students and pupils as well as 100 teachers.
Call To Action
The Covid-19 pandemic did not only bring out the weaknesses in health care system and government emergency plans. It equally revealed the value of collective action and individual contributions to the betterment of our world. Everyone deserves to live in healthy, clean environments.
